Heres the story. One of my basset hounds named Daisy was diagnosed with cancer in Jan. at 11 years old and has lost her sight due to the cancer.Otherwise dog is still fully mobile and active.
Well my dumb ass went out the back door and left it part open.
Sure enough blind old dog falls in pool.I walk up 5 or so minutes later dog floating in pool not moving.Of course jump in fully clothed ,boots, cellphone and all. Grab dog put on edge of pool .
Nothing a little blood coming out her mouth.I start resusatating with chest compresions and open her mouth and breathe in about 8-10 times.Sure enough dog starts gagging and breathing.
I eventually get the dog up and walking.Even ate a dog bone. Currently resting.I'm glad that Daisy didn't go out like that.
Sorry about the ramble.Currently crying.:( :( :(

I know a guy that used to raise sheep. He did mouth to mouth on a lamb and it was fine.

<<---I would do the same thing to my dog if needed..

Your dog is unconditionaly your best friend. Glad you could save yours.
I just got done reading a story about Ricky Smith having to put down his best friend, 16 1/2yo Dachsund.
I still freak out whenever my Basset goes in the road. Not often, but once is too many.

did you get a boner?
you seem like a 16-year-old dumb ass that feels the need to make immature cracks at situations, in your eyes, worth laughing at. under no circumstance is giving his dog CPR something to make an ignorant and immature comment like that. kudos to you for being a fucking idiot. do us all a favor, let your balls drop and your voice stops cracking before you come back. maybe then you'll be a little more well-minded.
