*My issue is not with the Rules or the mistakes made by the NSCA........it is about personal attacks. Just because Patrick has a chassis shop and is the VP of the NSCA. It seems its open season against him. This is a real sticky issue with everyone.......I know for fact that there was never malice with any decision made......just mistakes........when this is all said and done next week you all may be takin another look at the organization...until then.....PLEASE easy on the personal attacks........just want suggestions........and Jim your Video (from Canada) is up......I just gotta get the links

Ok, I have the balls to tackle this one. How well known would Pro Car be if Pat was not associated with the NSCA?
Thats a valid question.......Not that I'm turning this around but the NSCA has gotta be run by somebody.....there's no big $$ in it So I think Patrick and Tony D........do it out of love for the Sport......did they make mistakes????....Yep!!!!.....Would we if we did their job......YEP YEP.....I think they are guilty of tryin to please everybody.......There was no Malice intended (I know I say that alot but its very true) Now that puts us right here right now.......If we all put in our idea's it can be changed to benifit ALL........Some of you are real pissed.....Do you really think that Tony and Patrick wanted that????....I think not.....if everybody contributes a little (I'm not talkin $$ here) it can be fixed......Shit if you didn't care you would have kicked the dust off your sandals and moved on......Another thing.....How many calls do you think them 2 get from people with ideas....Which one do ya go with????....I wouldn't want their jobs....but I'll help them......How about the rest of you??

All we are, and all we ever hope to be is a shop that can fabricate for a living. So far, we've been able to do that, mostly for OSCA, guys out of Jersey (Atco cars) and some NSCA work.

I am lucky enough to have a forum to share what we do in the NSCA. I also quit a 12 yr career at Xerox to do this- we're dead serious about it. So far, we've had some nice successes.

I've never, and will never bash the competing shops that do this. All have shown great work and there is more than enough for all of us. I'm feel I'm holding a small edge in that I represented NSCA in the SFI process and have some unique insights into the way the process works. That's cool- but we were fabricating before I ever worked for NSCA, believe it.

Such wasted energy on bitterness Tom- especially from a guy that goes to the races yet never had the stones to introduce himself. The NSCA job is wayyy more complicated than it seems in computerland. If there were more honest questions, I could illustrate that, but the smarty pants tone you adopt makes that tough.

So it takes "stones" to introduce myself to you?? Get over yourself, your not all that. I've spoken to about every person here on some level, whether they know it or not. I've even spoken with you and Randy twice (you were busy being a Rock Star while Randy was busting his ass).

Make sure you roll out the red carpet when I announce my arrival to the next NSCA race, I'll expect an ice cold beer and a cheeseburger with no spit in it.

See you at the track

What is a "Pro Car", is that some sort of ride at Cedar Point?

Who has heard of them outside of the NSCA circles?

Okay, so I have heard about enough of this "lets all shoot the mutha phuckas" that are the NSCA, but it is now time for me to speak up on THIS SUBJECT!!!

Lets start out by saying that I consider just about all THE RACERS on this board to be friends or at least good aquaintances of mine. Those of you who lay back in the weeds and throw rocks and dont ever show up to race with a car GOT NO SAY as far as I am concerned. Does Mr Filipowski who does have a BAD ASS race car have a legitimate gripe? Perhaps he does but I think he is more than man enough to hold his own in his discussions with PB or TD. The rest of ya need to keep you noses and mouths outa it and let the RACERS deal with it!

On to your question, snide comment, whatever, however it was meant. I took it as a smart ass crack! I dont know you from a bar of soap but I do believe that a lot of people know me and if I had to guess I was probably backing up from a burnout when you were a school kid. I chose ProCar to build the car MY SON goes 215 in for a phucking reason. I trust Pat and Randy and now Gary to do a GREAT job and they have proven their worth, 100 fold. Remember thats MY SON in their car!

Who else knows ProCar outside of the NSCA? Lets see, howz about you ask the other 74 cars in Super Pro Street in Orlando. Fourth aint to bad for a bunch of nobodies! Lets see, suppose we go across the border to Canada and ask the racers there about ProCar, back to back wins against the best they have to offer oughta say something shouldn't it? AND they werent back into 'em wins either.

Now flame away if you wish. I have had these discussions for years, blowers suck, nitrous rules, ya aint gonna get no cherry. So bring it and if ya wanna discuss it face to face I am more than willing to that as well. A healthy discussion never hurt anyone. Just look for the bright orange piece of shit ProCar Camaro with all that bullshit hangin' outa the hood.
