What would be the best way to clean the valve stem on a JGS ?

Or can it just be oiled ?

soak in diesel fuel ?

You will be surprise on what gasoline can do. I used this to clean my cylinder heads chamber, soak the rag with gasoline.

I wish he made these so you can take the valve out !

Doesnt look like it but you cant see the entire stem . . but does feel like it .

seems to just be carbon .
