A year ago i had asked about how to take better pics of jets and i got great responses. So now after getting a new lens, 24-70 2.8, new flash, sb600 and adjusting the settings i have a couple of new pics that were taken at our Citrus Nationals this past November. Next on the list is a remote flash. Any other ideas or criticisms other than don't stand in front of them :-D. They were the shots i wanted so i am looking to improve upon these.

Jet Cars are difficult because of the amount of light being put out by the afterburner... These pics look pretty decent, but have perhapps too much fill flash...

And as you said yourself... Not the best place to stand, espescially when they are doing burner pops ( not the regular flame show ) as brakes wont hold...

you just need a little bit of Fill Flash on remote, you dont want to much.

You have guts thats for sure lol. Its very cool to be able to see the drivers faces, but im sure as others would agree i'd hate to see an unnecessary accident happen!
