What do you think about him? What kind of quality product does he produce? Do reccomend his cam? Also I heard he has done some work for Billy Glidden and crawford racing is this true? I would like facts or refrences... trying to find a good custom cam that works who do y'all suggest?? thanks

Be sure you know your goal and if possible speak with him before purchasing parts outside of a camshaft. He will tell you if something isnt right or ideal like header size or a intake for example.
probably most important is once everything is set in stone and the cam design and build process gets rolling dont go chnaging your plans or switching parts on him. Too many times has he had past customers unhappy only to find out the parts they used were not the parts disclosed on the buildsheet. Not at all saying theres alot of unhappy customers, just that the ones that were usually weren't honest with their combos make-up.

Jay is top notch in my book and does excellent work. Im sure some dickheads will come on here and bash him like in previous threads. Some dickheads even go from board to board to bash him or start a new account to bash him. Happens every few months...

Got my cam and heads from Jay. Spoke with him on the phone and he was a nice guy and even when I had a question or wasn't sure what he was talking about he explained it. Either way my car runs so well with his cam in it. Plus what they say above is true...make sure you let him know everything you have.

My previous combo had a comp cams "custom grind" that ran 10.27's on spray. I called Jay and told him everything that I had and he recommended a few things in addition to the cam that he sold me and my car went 9.76 first pass on the gas.
