I wounder how many of these people do not realize they owe the back rent and utility bills (and mortgage pmts with interest tacked onto the end) when the " Covid freeze" is lifted.

The date COVID-19 will be over is Nov. 4th

I would normally not condone such actions but I think you should feel free to help yourself to that dirt bike. He helped himself to free rent which the rest of society will ultimately pick up the bill for starting with everyone renting from your landlord. That includes you. So... Let us know how it rides.

They are coming after the wealthy and middle class with these orders to force Socialism.
Ive felt like that for a while now... saw all the clues where I am. When covid came around and the rent control went country wide I was not suprised, they'd already been doing that where I am, for frivilous things that tenants reported... and tenants started taking advantage of the new rules... some even moving from place to place just to report things and get reduced rent and immunity from eviction for weeks or months.

They will try shut all the doors for the middle and upper class to be any better off than those with little, and immigrants straight off the boat.

Hence low interest rates are here to stay also as well as possible bank bail ins, because theyve been passing those bail in laws also in a number of countries. Add possible cash bans to that, so its difficult to get out of getting fleeced by them one way or another.

Thats how these socialists roll, they want to be the only wealthy ones, the only ones who travel and fly, and so on, I feel that is their end game. But they cant go from how we were to how they want it to be in one hit, so they do it gradually.

Covid has been a great reason for them to implement things they couldnt convice people of in other ways,... like their 'climate change' narrative for one... and progress their agendas.

Correct.
COVID is a tunnel they've been able to weasel otherwise unacceptable measures into society.

I consider COVID response like a VPN, if you understand the networking world.
They're using it as a secure tunnel to drive things thru without interference.

It's way worse here in the Democratic Socialist Republic of Canada. Our Dear Leader enacted significant pandemic tenant protections while simultaneously pouring money directly into their pockets.

I have several decent tenants who really struggle and are laid off from the this, and still try to pay me what they can. But I also have one that said fuck you to the rent the instant Trudeau said nobody can be forced to pay rent and can't be evicted.

Lots of local landlords are in this boat. Tenants claiming they can't pay, while having collected 10,000 per person since march in pandemic response. So now we have free loaders with new motorbikes, big screens, ebikes, that sort of shit. Can't do fuck all about it, can't evict, can't sell because another investor or family can't get them out for the same reasons. When they lift the restrictions on evictions the backlog will be the size of my dick and it'll take 6 months to get through them all. The banks don't give a flying fuck and keep taking their mortgages right on time. The biggest kick in the balls with it, the liberals claiming it's working so well, we might as well just go with universal basic income when this is all over.

You live in an apartment building and he bought a dirt bike?

Eventually all the back rent will come due, and he'll be gone.

A few friends of mine were sitting around talking about what this will do to the rental house market. I have one empty right now and have decided to sell it instead of rent it. One of them was saying they were doing something in Orange County California that is much worse but I didn't here much of it.
