4.250" bore x 4.500" stroke. IA Aluminum
Edelbrock D-port heads, flow [email protected]
10.5:1 compression.
Lunati Voodoo solid roller cam, 255/263, 285/293 Adv., .646 lift after lash.
.904 bushed Crower solid roller lifters, bronze lifter bore bushings.
Autotec pistons with 1.5x1.5x3 millimeter rings.
6.7" Eagle rods.
RPM intake, port matched.
.116" wall pushrods.
Stud girdle.

It should make for a nice tractable street engine, but the solid roller and bushed lifters seem a little overkill for the rpm range. Do you plan to put a single plane and bigger carb on it? Was that peak numbers? It looked like the test started at over 4000 rpm, but you stated torque at 3500. That seems odd. Nice engine, not trying to knock it by any means.

Planning on replacing the Performer RPM with a Torker II or a Victor and use my 1200 CFM FAST EFI with 62 Lbs injectors. That should pick it up across the board.

Peak TQ is at 3500 - It is a Pontiac



The Dyno was run in two halves. 4000 up and 4500 down to get the low end of the TQ band. The engine was not getting any tuning beyond getting the timing at the sweet spot for the carb we had. It was a borrowed carb set up for a totally different engine. We could not make changes to the A/F on those passes.
