I remember back in the 80's and early 90's they were one of the tube chassis kit car makers with a good rep. Are they still in business? Can't find a site on the internet.

They went belly up when many of their chassis wouldn't certify with the new requirements back in the early 90s. The .118 spec was their downfall.

Holy Crap!! Zeeker hasn't been around for like 15 years or better. I had one of their catalogs when I was like 18.
Bwahahahahaha. Wish I was 18 in the 80's. LOL. Yep. Standing around my counter and flashin back with a few friends and it came up. And haven't seen any posts or info in a long time.

Yep, I remember the .118 wall deal back then. Lot of tubing sold as .120 and was......... till ya bent it and then went under in the bends when stretched.

Lot of cars had to have cages re-done whether Zeeker or home made.

I believe Dave Morgan (Doorslammer Book) was a part of Zeeker.

There was also another "famous" chassis builder out of Hicksville, OH anybody remember his name??? He burned a couple of guys around me who almost had their cars seized by the FBI. He did some super work, but something got in the way and then I believe he went onto work for RJ after the "raid".

most of the above on Loren Zeedyk mopar heads is true..and did move to atlanta..He passed away of (cancer.?)..
His daughter and my wife are good friends...
he was a forefather of the 4link rear supension...amoung other things...
built and designed alot of the mopar go fast parts...he had alot to do with the small block w5 heads..as well as the Zeeker big block heads...Early on...Indy/ had a hand in the casting of the zeeker heads..
Indy eventually manipulated his/its way into /stole the concept from zeeker ..
latert when Loren got sick...couldnt really fight or argue or defend his property...Indy won by default..... called them 440-1
the guy was a Genius...designed alot of shit that didnt surface for yrs..some stuff that still hasnt..
he trusted very few people....and got screwed over more times than a man of his character should have been
but i digress...
lots of inventors are poor business men....i guess....

I had a Beretta that was a Zeeker chassis , It ran ProMod when it was new then the Chromoly took over and it would not certify for 7.50 and Quicker . It was driven by Wally Bell ,Chassis was set up with Ricky Smiths help and i had the pleasure of owning it till I sold it to some folks in Australia . They won 2 World Championships with it and a Runner-up in the first 3 years they owned it ! Punish the car with more horsepower was all I ever did with it and it like it .
