This is very good information because I have talked with Phil many times and like him as a fellow racer. If he's not in jail for any stupid shit the cars and things can be replaced by hard work even though it would be very hard because I'm sure their's a couple 100K in those cars but his freedom is worth more than any car. Good luck and I hope everything turns out good and he get's everything back.

By the way people, the IRS is not a governmental agency. Its actually an outside 'company' that collects for them. That doesnt bother me as much as spending all the money they (the gov) do on shit outside the country and illegals.

Is this a delinquent tax matter? If it is, it must have been going on for a hell of a long time. I can't imagine the IRS busting in to your house and confiscating your stuff unless all the negotiating has failed. These things don't just come up overnight. It would take years of legal stuff before it gets down to taking your property like has been described. This would be considered as a last resort.
