you moved the injector....so was the fault reported on the same cylinder ?

And if the problem is fairly regular...just run the engine on the secondary injectors so it will be more easy to spot when it does happen.
I haven't had a fault since I move the injector and I haven't tested the #7 wire harness on another injector. At this point I'm just going to assume it's the OEM injector harness which is probably over 20-30 years old.

crimp the pins onto wires then epoxy them into the injector and remote the connector where you have room.

Crap solution...but a solution for a tight space.
Actually not a bad idea. The biggest draw back will be having to make sure the connector pigtail can be adapted to a connector used by someone flow testing the injectos.

I took a look last night and it appears that the newer style clips should work but they will have to be clipped on before installing the injectors which is not a big deal.
