Has anyone changed from an air to air intercooler to water to air as the only change to see the performance differance ?

I have a large Precision front mount air to air now. My air temps are in the 150 deg. range at the end of a 1/8 mile run.
18-19 lbs. of boost.

1 degree usually = 1 hp with correct tuning. keeping the iat under 100 degrees is best. how much would 50 hp work for you? on the other hand you will be set for bigger turbos/ motor cubes.

When I was running the Novi 2000 renegade, I ran it with no I/C at 200+ degs IAT's then put on the Vortech igloo. Picked up 5MPH in the 1/4 from 140 to 145 and inlet temps dropped to 89 degs climbing to 120 peak. Am now running twin turbos with a large in-car A/W and see 58degs all the way through the traps with very little fluctuation.
