i have a set of twisted wedge r sso outlaw heads on a 440 ci + engine im try to decide on intake 4.0 commander victor 2828 or world products chi brand intake my head intake runners are a little bigger than 1262 rs this all motor with a 410 ci engine i am now running 920-930 et 145mph + 590 et 118mph in eighth mile with 373 gears 26. 8.5 tire any help would be appreciated

I would go with one of the CHI intakes over the Edelbrock. The CHI has more material for porting and future growth. Just check hood clearance since the CHI is a tall intake.

I have the R heads with a 2924 super victor intake.Ive been 5.71 at 123 2850lbs.Heads and intake done by Bennett Racing.Hope this helps.

Is the intake ported I would think if you switched to the 4.0 if yours is not ported you would pick up 1.5 to 2tenths with the correct cam and any port matching that would be needed.

And to Gearhead 410 Commander 4.0 there is no other intake.

I think Gearhead 410 has already been 5.88 at 118 NA with 373 gear and the exact intake you have NOT ported at 2800 and his heads don't even flow 350, that's the reason I suggested you may pickup as well with the commander.

I like all the intake listed. You can go from 2924, 2828, CHI 3.0/ 4.0, or the BT intake. It has alot to do with where the powerband is for the motor.
