greetings yb!!

has anyone here tried any sort of coating for intake and exhaust valves? i know some guys have had success with coating the tops of their pistons, i'd imagine exhaust valves see similar temperatures, intakes maybe a bit less. i'm sure if you completely miss your tune up, its not going to help much, but it might make your window a tiny bit bigger.

this for a moderately low budget motorcycle build. stainless valves run about 25 bucks a pop, so if i can spend 100-150 on getting a set coated, i think it might be worth it.

thoughts? opinions?

Most companies that ceramic coat pistons also do the chambers on the heads. When they do those chambers they also do the heads of the valves.

for those that have tried it, have you found that the coating lasts? or does it end up getting burnt off?
