Installing a Rack & Pinion 67 Comet Cyclone 460 w/heade

Well the kit is not made for a 460 with headers. The 460 sits lower and the rack hit the pan. Can't raise the motor, the air cleaner is already against the hood. Made new brackets to lower the rack. Now have to remake two tubes on the headers to clear the rack. So much for a bolt in kit. The pump and brackets are repros. I'll have pictures of them later. Ray

Only for Mustangs. I talked to them. They were test one on a Fairlane two years ago. I called them and asked how long the road test was. They were bought out by Alston and decided not to continue with it. That's why I bought this one. The brackets and everything was there. If I had a 390 engine and no headers it would have bolted right in.
