Is there a easy way to install the teflon seals on a input shaft? PG trans, turbo spline

They are one piece seals

Stretch them around the shaft then size them with a tool that is made to the bore of the pump stator tube.

How do you mean size them? If I put the shaft in the freezer and warm up the seals, then install the seals will they conform to the size of the input shaft?

why not run a scarf cut teflon seal?

I would but this is what I have at this time

What shaft is it that you need to install one piece rings? If its conventional just get a different set of rings or cut yours. When I say "size" , I mean shrink them back down to the bore size. Teflon is stupid and has NO memory so if its stretched it just stays that way.

Thanks, I took your advice and got another set of seal rings that were cut.

use a long socket to hold the teflon ring on... then with a sharp x-zacko knife, cut the ring at angle to scarf cut them. Longer scarf cut the better. Check for fitment and you may need to size them as with 1 piece use
