On my other car I used a silcone coupler from the T/B to the inlet pipe. On my new car I am building I wanted to use a vband, cause it was a pain in the ass to get the silicone to let go when I wanted to remove the intake.

My question is: When using a vband will the movement of the engine tear something up?
I will be welding the hole in the firewall up and welding the pipe to the cowl area. I am using an AJE k-member with solid motor mounts and AJE solid trans mount.
Input please!
