I would like to know, If i use a 4an line teed off off a 6an feed line will it give an accurate reading. Also would it be better to have the line going to the guage as short as possible so there is no waste.

Yes, it's going to read pressure no matter where it is at. Closer is better. I have mine inline with the feedline, using a T-fitting, and have the gauge mounted to it.

my guage is indash and comes off the purge log. it usally reads about 25psi higher than the guage at the tank in back of truck. i basically use it as a reference every run to make shure my tunes are off the same psi every time. not worrying if its way off from the actuall pressure. as long as im 900-925 im good

.

I tapped into my -6 feed line with a -4 line to the in dash gauge.
I also only use in dash when making a pass. Yes the bottle, dash & computer all show a little bit different PSI.
As long as you only use the dash gauge you will be consistent every pass.
