Race tonite.

I qualified #8 of 11.

Lost first round 10.16 to a paltry 10.62, BUT this is my best n/a e.t. so far. This was an all motor race, and I just wanted to be part of it, I knew I was no threat to anyone really, #1 was a 9.16.

What I learned:

1) A .400 tree is much harder than it looks!!!

2) For the under 17K we have in the truck, I feel pretty good!

3) I'm still very capable of making dumb mental mistakes! Age obviously is not a cure for this.

4) Drag Racing (at least for the budget limited) needs to be done for the fun of it, and just enjoy what you have, and keep working towards your goals, but keep it all in perspective.

I had a great time, and can proudly say I was not the last qualifiing position!!!
