We wiped out the solid roller and want to switch to a hydraulic roller.

Due to the large valves I would suggest a solid roller or a hydraulic roller with minimal lash and solid roller lifters so you can get enough spring in there to control the valve

Is this a Comp Cams CAST CAM CORE? If it is, This is your problem, they put the lobes on a billet core and they say 200 more pounds of open pressure BUT the lobes didn't change!!!!! That is because the cast core can't take the pressure a billet core can, and THEY WILL AND DO GO OUT. A good 8620 billet roller would be no issue here

With your 4000 stall and that narrow LSA you will get your 3800 lb car moving quickly off of the tree.

I would use a cam like these custom grind Crane HR lobes that are specifically designed for max output.

If all you plan on running is the 150 shot then the first cam that I posted would be a better choice and it will make your N/A goals easier.

That's kinda important when trying to calculate what duration cam it needs.
