All stainless hot side. I didn't want to coat it with anything that would chip off from the heat. Is there a chrome coating that will work or is the best thing to polish the stainless. I like the different colors that he metal makes when it gets hot. I have seen this on several race cars but don't know how they made it look like that.

Having a polished hot side is more work than having a code addicted full time high maintenance hooker on the payroll. It can look great for a long while but it has to be impeccably clean every time you put heat into them or they stain and will look like shit in no time. Drop a wrench on it or breath on it funny and they scratch. Not something I recommend to people but it does look fucking good when it's fresh or just starts to get that tint of gold into the material.
