I have a twin turbo 355 sb, cast heads , methanol no intercooler, 10:5:1 , around the 25psi boost,
I am leaning towards a msd8 plus but am curious if many people run a 7531 with methanol on it's own not piggybacked to the msd8plus,
Will it lite the fuel around the 3.4-3.6 range,(I understand it's just a number aswell I'm just trying to get an indexation on ignition outputs)
Car was going previously with the 7531 but around the 4.1- 4.2 due to some other dramas throw out the combo,

IMO, 7531- 1500 to 2000
Msd 8- over 2000 to 2500
Mag - over 2500.

I ran one to.about 30-32psi but fueling and plugs get real touchy. If you try to run very rich it will be down on power. Hell even when I ran one on a piggybacked 8Plus and NTK WBO2 richer than about 3.6 would be down on power. Running a ProMag44 now and holy shit what a difference. I switched to the mag to be able to run a safer A/F ratio and not cost me power but man this bitch will burn some fuel and make big steam almost instantly. Don't EVER trust anyone else's A/F numbers.

2X with the low 30 range even with the plugs gapped down around 0.018 we experienced it dropping cylinders.
With a Grid and 8 box you can run 50+ psi.
