I do not have it in my hands as of yet. I have seen some guys getting 535-545" out of them with the 4.700 bore.

Rod is irrelevant, max PRODUCTIVE stroke length possible has to do with the cylinder length.

How is it irrelevant? You have to clear counterweight and balance it.drce 2 go 4.600 at 9.5 deck so it will go 4.00 stroke at 9.00" according to their 9.5 deck specs.

You can get a nice 638 out of that combo but with a 1.32 rod/stroke. Will that work?

Do these blocks only work with heads specific to them?

What stroke crank does it have now? Just build a 500 incher will make 1400 hp easy just not much torque depends on what your car weighs what type trans is all.

No way would I ever put a 4.6" stroke in a 9.5" deck height but to each their own. Anyway, I would think like said 4" is about all I would go with a 9.0" deck height.

3.63 stroke. I was just curious not that it would make much of a difference.

I wouldn't want that in 9.500 deck.Thats what I quoted from up in thread earlier from sheet that came with block. We have 4.720x 3.850 and love it ..

Let me help you out a little I have a drce 1 motor that was in 500 inch form 3.80 stroke crank I put a 4.250 crank because my block is 9.90 deck
Went to 565 inch made same hp but gained 50lbs torque and lowered rpm band 1000 rpm it wasn't worth the money. So like I said if your have the motor build the car to it 3spd trans or manual trans just wind the piss out of it. Or have aftermarket tall deck block built to fit the heads go that route that's what my new motor is 713 incher.
