After some good tunning advice this weekend I was able to make back to back 130 + mph passes. I have been 129 before in great weather but never 130 and certianly not in the heat. One kit on a conventional headed BBC in an all steel, except the hood, full interiored, stock suspention 69 Camaro. :smt040
Thats a new best for me so I was just interested in how much power I might be making.

Now this is jsut what I have seen from a couple of other cars. But I have seen a couple of other cars barely break 130mph, they were lighter than your car and both of them made right at or just over 1000 rwhp through a glide

Ha, a Butt Load!!!!

3800lbs going 130mph in the 1/8th needs a lof of power!

I've been a whopping 116mph in the 1/8th with a small shot that put 625hp to the tires on a chassis dyno.

Pull 3 plug wires and I'll run ya heads-up! :)

Nice outing. I know that thing is making some power. At 3200 lbs & 1050 HP, I was running 127 mph in the old car.

Still going at it

E/T was not up to the MPH because I haven't let it eat out of the
hole. I am delaying the hit just a bit and the 60ft are off just
about .1 to .15
The tune is clean and now I will start to work that delay down some.
If I turn the n2o on earlier in the run it should even run a touch more mph .......you think ?
You can't .........
No I can't just hit this much weight with that much
power out of the hole.......it breaks shit.

I'll be glad just to get any sub 5.60's again. I'd jump up and down for 5 .4's :smt031 :smt082 :supz:
