My sons ford 383 efi has a 125shot on it now we want to go up to 200hp. its fully built. it was my old blower motor but only has 9-1 compression. 125 got it 6.93 1/8th. havent seen any nozzle that post more than 150 maybe distribution issues. this nozzle is located in the elbow just before throttle body. Thanks for any input.:cool:

What efi intake are you running? If you are running a standard "type" efi ford intake you will run into distribution issues at about 200 shot and up. 150-175 shot shouldn't be much of a problem though, just watch all 8 plugs as you step it up. I have run 150-175 shot with a single nozzle in the elbow on numerous stock 5.0 engines without issues using many different intake manifolds. With carbureted style or box style upper intakes you can get a little more into them without having issues.

The shark nozzle is only good for 250hp I think. The Shark SHO nozzle is the one that goes to 400hp. We have sprayed 250 thru the blue shark nozzle and have one of the SHO ones but never sprayed that much. They will flow a lot of nitrous though.

I'm assuming the black nozzle is their sho nozzle? And I Aldo want to know if you sprayed 300 just through it or 2 stages

I ran the Shark nozzle at 100 and it put down 124 rwhp through an auto. I was told it was good to 250, but never went that high.

Another question you should be asking is why is my son's 383 only running 6.90s to the 1/8 on a 125 shot. Does it have GT40 iron heads on it or something? That thing should be going 6.90s on motor even with only 9:1 compression.

Well 90gt my sons car weighs 3400 lbs its a turbo motor with 9-l and we put a tight nitrous converter to have some fun. we started with a 125 with and got [email protected]. We think that not to bad. With no tuning. My coupe in my signature does [email protected] 124 and still tuning. My sons car is a work in progress thanks for your thoughts.

so if i understand this the shark is good for 250 and the sho is good for 400?

250 on a dry kit. 306ci went 6.30's to the 1/8
