I have the old design flowmaster 40 series dumped at the rear seat of my camaro with turndowns. Im looking at picking up a set of Borla XR-1's to replace them with to try and pick up some ET and loose the drone inside the car.

How much louder at idle and cruise will the XR-1's be then the Flowmaster old style 40's? Dont want to piss off the neighbors too much.

i believe itll be quieter.we ran the xr1s and it sounds great,not "tinny"
