Ive got a Holley HP carb 850 with the idle screws on all four corners.How should I set them?I have them all one complete turn out.Does this only help or hurt on idle setup?Thanks guys Im new to carbs

Way to do it is about 1 1/2 turns out then throw a vaccum gauge on it and adjust each one till you get the highest vaccum at each screw

As a general rule I always start a carb set up with the screw(s) 1 1/4 -1 1/2 turns out. Doesn't matter to me if it is a Holley or a Tilison off your chain saw. That adjustment will usually get you started and running.

Be sure to balance the front and rear idle stops before you set the mixture.
