I got a new converter that was impossible to stall. They sent me a new looser stator and I still got the same problem, the car will not stall at all, it takes forever, and stays on same rpm and wont climb. This is the answer I got from them:" fluid restriction preventing the fluid to properly exit the converter" My question is: Is there anyway to fix it? Can a external converter dump fix spool issue on 4L80E? Hope you understand my problem. The transmission is a fully manual built 4L80E transbrake with the pump modification, what I know about. The converter is 9.5 inch and my goal is to come up to 4500 rpm, but it stays 3500. They can not provide me with a looser stator, what I have in there is 21 blade 35 degrees.

The first thing I would recommend is to install an OEM regulator spring to drop line to around 190 psi and note the difference , if any.
