Hey Ray I ran out of time yesturday to stop by.....Question for you.....When I was a kid at the intersection of I-95(now) RT-1 and rt 413 (langhorn) I remember going to the Dirt Circle Track now where that office park is....Do you??
The only track I knew of was across from Reedman. It's now a shopping center. It was Langhorne Speedway. It was a 1 mile "D" shaped dirt track which was paved in 1966 and closed around 1970. My father used to take me there to see The Indy cars and Nasscar from 64-66.
Do you remember what this place was before it became Ray Swenson Lincoln Mercury in Oct. of 1968????? Roosevelt Blvd. and Tyson Ave. one block south of Cottman Ave. [rte73]
That what this place used to be, it's where I started.
How about, Kutner Buick, Matt Slap Chevy, Degnan Chevy,
Swenson Ford, Placter Caddy, Roth Brothers Foreign Cars,
Northeast Dodge, Norton chevy,
and Cheif Pontiac [was Lou Block Pontiac before].
He Bill, these other guys aren't that old. Can't talk about things from 50 years ago!!!!!
