Those old Detroit's ran great for the 6 months they held together LOL.
We're still running the 6 and 8v92 around here in service rigs. I bet you could find a couple of the 12v92 as well. We beat the carp out of them and last forever. The series 60 are the ones we have problems with dropping injectors.

I drove a Silver 6v92 (335) all over the country 20 some years ago. My ears are still ringing and I still get up at night and try to put oil in it! Not as bad as the 238 6-71, but man those things would sing.

Fastest truck I ever drove had a 12v92 in it. Triple digits easy and a skid mark in my shorts...

What kind of a dumb ass puts carbs on a blown, dual plug, hemi? ;):rolleyes:
Is that a Chrysler Hemi or something more exotic? Something about the valve covers looks funny. I agree in any case though, that thing needs mechanical FI and a buzzard catcher.
