Howdy everybody!! I'm new on the tread and want to try an get info on slick sizes I'm considering. I now run a a 32x14x15 and would like to come down to a 10.5W. It'll probably be either a Mickey Thompson 31x10.5W or 33x10.5W. I noticed that the 31 is not as wide as the 33 and was trying to figure out why? My rim is 14 inches wide so that should be fine. Will one or both of these wheels be as tall as whats on there now or will the W stretch out to accommodate the rim size and get shorter?

Thanks

Refer to the Mickey Thompson website for recommendation on rim width. 14" might be too wide for those slicks. Personally, I prefer to run a rim width that is approximately the same as the slick's tread width.

I run the 33/10.5W and it's on a 12 wheel. 3 Friends run the same tire as a NSS piece and they all use 12's. It may work on a 14 but, I would have to ask M/T.
I just barely have enough power to do a burnout but, with 3400 lbs., a big block and trans brake , the thing dead hooks.
