wont touch them anymore, definately not worth it.never had a bolt break but it will pull the threads out of the block everytime.

I had the same problem and did the whole flush the coolant system new water-pump and thermostat...one thing I over-looked as I still had over heating problems was putting the tablets in the coolant system that Chevrolet requires and yes they have a part#.You can find the part# under the hood.I've been good for 156k total now.I don't know if it was just luck but it helped me.The headgasket deal does seem to be a pain if that is the way you have to go with the stripped out head bolts and all..Hopefully you won't have to go that far.Good-Luck!

this thing has never overheated it just drinks coolant and you can smell it out the tail pipes i drive it 80 mi to work add half gallon of coolant then drive 80 mi home then add coolant I have been doing this for a week now and I have added the cans of Kseal it no workie but car has never got hot always runs about 196
