So I went to the track on Saturday and on my last pass, I noticed there was some oil that blew out of my vaccum pump canister. So I decided to pull the plugs and make sure it did not push a head gasket, well on #7 cylinder it had water in it, so I was done for the day. I went home and took the intake and head off and notice the gasket was blown out right above the #7 hole. The engine is a 429 Small Block chevy, now my question is would you just put a pair of head gaskets on the engine and be done with it or would you have the heads decked and start fresh? I am using Fel-pro 1010 head gaskets.
