WOW,
gotta love when somthing that just doesn't seem logical makes you look twice at the score board. I am going down to the DSM shootout, all eagle talon/mitsu eclipse race at NRP this weekend I'll grab some video of the fast guys if I can.

as for getting my ass handed to me... of course.. but the worst:

1999ish
Jr dragster nationals Texas motorplex, Texas
1st round
opponant a hottie in a pink car named "mississippi missle"
loss margin .005 or some stupid close number

why its the worst loss, the two day drive home from texas to Michigan getting ridiculed by dad and my friends who went with us for loosing to a girl in a pink car.....damn that still burns a little

Hey, WJ, you remember what you said in Englishtown when Bill Cavallo and I brough Abel Ibarra over to meet you and look at his run graphs? I do. And I quote, "When these guys get this figured out they're going to show us old farts a thing or two!"

Could it be happening?

Course I'll also never forget the time in Reading you asking BC after the umpteenth time he brought you the plugs to read from Bill Perry's car if they ever considered putting in a new set. Bill turned red and Tom Peterson and I laughed over that one for months.

Got beat in a 1/4 mile bracket race by a Bonneville SST once. Got out on him so far (over a second at 60') I eased up at half track so as not to break out, got back in it and he whizzed past me at the 1000 like I was standing still. Then I looked at his intervals... Heaven help me on the big end when that blower kicked in!

Didn't lift the next time! Broke him out.
