looks like fun ,,,,,,,any serious hot rodder is not going to be satisfied with factory settings
and that GTR guy is no dummy LOL.....but at the end of the day the Veyron is the baddest looking car on the planet
jmo dut did anybody notice in the 2nd race when the gtr passed him the camara man pans to the rear and shows the spoiler up..........that means the veyron was not under power and has atleast touched the brakes........
Iirc their mid to low 11's right off the showroom floor but remember this isn't a car made for drag, it's the best road course car in the world. They're just versatile.
No improper use of launch control voids the warranty. You have to allow a certain amount of time to pass in between uses or it records it and will void the trans warranty. They are looking to have a new feature that automatically disables LC for the required period so you CANT use it.
It would have if they had a few more miles of straight away to do it in. The GTR isn't exactly a slouch up top and hits 200+ with that gearing. That plus the 20 or so buslengths it pulled on the veyron makes it hard for the bugatti to catch up.
My dads GTR runs 7.20's but it has had some plug and play upgrades w/ the cobb tuner. He is waiting for the warranty period to end before he does anything serious with it. He is going to have the transmission upgrades with the stronger shafts/gears and probably more boost and titanium exhaust. Truly an amazing car for the money.
A friend of mine with nothing but a catback exhaust ran 10.91@123, 7.01@99 and a 1.61 60' on stock tires. They are pretty incredible cars competing with the worlds supercars at a fraction of the price.
