I shot a bunch of GoPro videos yesterday, and each one is roughly 3.5-4 minutes long. From the time I turn the camera on (roof mounted) until the car comes back down the return road. I only need to upload from the staging until the end of the run(roughly 25-30 seconds. What FREE software do you guys use? I am a newbie at video editing. I uploaded an entire 3:06 video this am and it took almost 4 hours, lol. Help me out here!

Do a search...there's been a bunch of threads asking the same question. Windows Live Movie Maker works fine and is free with Windows software.
X2 - Windows Live Movie Maker is simple to learn, and it's free. It's probably the best to start with.

GoPro offers their Cineform editor for free also, but I haven't bothered using it yet. I might once I get the 3D kit.
