I actually had a factory support ride on CR 500's for 2 seasons 89 & 90 !

They were a blast to ride just point and shoot lots of power many of those races I won by survival by not tossing it away.

I had one of those too when I was 16. It took me a while to figure out how to take off from a stop without launching the front tire a foot or two off the ground. 500cc single piston

Yep I rode from age 8 and a friend stopped by the day he bought his 500 let me take a spin...f'n scary fast...my 250R three wheel was dangerous but I had no intentions on buying that 500 after 5 minutes of riding it down a gravel road at like 100mph...no helmet or goggles...stupid f'n move on my part.
