Hey All ... does anyone have personal or dyno experience with one of these ? ... It's my understanding that these came on some crate 454 LSX engines .
Lsx DR crate eng .....Huge port. Head was sold with 313cc DR head = Huge.
I believe Someone on here used that intake with a big cubed ls build...

How is the port alignment and do you know the height from the valley plate to the carb flange ?
LS7 ports are smaller all the way around , looks like I will be gasket matching the heads to the intake ... height is right at 8" ... the plenum top has been opened up quite a bit , I will likely have it milled down to where a 4500 throttle body with gasket will seal it , I think I can take 1/2" or more off ... it also looks like the manifold attaching bolt bosses were spot faced with a masonry chisel and sledge hammer ... this was off (so I was told) a tall deck LSX block and milled to fit the LS7 heads ... I will definitely need to have that work checked out too !!!

Let me raise my hand and ask. Why this intake instead of a CID? To me the port alignment on the corners would be way better w) the CiD. This does seem lower profile, though, if you have a hood clearance max.
I got about 1200 reasons...A dollar for every reason
🤣
Only thing is the port was made for a Big ass port.
Take a Look at the DR intake/head gasket vs the typical Ls7 inake/head gasket.
😱
