so that would be pretty loose right?
right now i have a lil slack and plenty adjustment on the one for the fuel pump..the one for the vacuum pump and alternator seems a lil tight.Ill have to adjust that one tomorrow. slot the motor plate for adjustment. damn motor plate is starting to look like swiss cheese.
The easiest way to set the tension is you should be able to grab the belt and turn it 90 degrees. If you can turn it all the way upside down so the teeth are facing up at you it's too loose. If you can't turn it 90 the belts too tight.
Always been told it should be loose enough were you can slide it back and forth across the pulley strait with little to no resistance but not so loose it'll skip. Been doing it this way three seasons now with no issue
