....not for me but one of my co-workers, it's an oval track car, 358 SBC on Alky ...she orderd a Pete Jackson Gear Drive for it, then asked me what I thought of Gear Drives I personally had a very Bad experience wth one @20 years ago on a SBF and have never used one since....
I told her just to get a Zoom TCS (that we stock) part # 160001, it's a dual steel roller and I think it made by Cloyes...

I run a gear drive on my motors, but it's not a Pete Jackson style. It's a Milodon/RCD full cover style. NEVER had any valve train issues with one. I do know that the Pete Jackson style can cause problems though, a trait inherent with the design. I think she's better off with the timing chain over the gear drive in my opinion.
