I have a Milodon 12700 Gear drive. I setup the thrust clearance at .003. When turning the cam over with the drive assembled, I can fell one small area that there is a tight spot. Not so tight that it wont turn, but like the thrust clearance tightened up.

Do you think this can be due to the cover distorting when tightening down to the block? And has anyone else run into this?

The instruction call for .000 - .005 and if I put a lot of oil on the thrust washers, the tight spot is not very noticeable until I turn past it a few times and turn the oil out.

Thanks.
