I have a 65 mustang with a 408w that makes 670hp with a C-4 and a 4.30 gear. I am getting ready to put about 250hp of Nitrous to it what would be a good gear. I race 1/8 mile and 1/4 mile tracks. Also will I loose on my 60ft times when changing another gear? I am trying to keep my RPM down to 7500 at the end of the 1/4 mile.

Have you run the car n/a yet? If so, what did it cross the line at rpm wise? What converter? Tire height? Weight of car? What do you shift at?
Be careful as dropping gear will make the converter slip more, loosen it up and flash higher so you may need a converter swap as well with that hit.

I have run it on the motor it ran a 6.53 in the 1/8 at 103 and it ran a 10.51 in the 1/4 with a bad 60ft. The car 60ft's is around 1.40 to 1.38 on motor I have a 4500 stall and I have a 28x10.5x15 and the car weighs about 32.50 with me in it and I go through the 1/4 at 7,200 or 7,300. I shift at 7,000. This is only the third time out with this combination I should be able to tweak it down to 6.40 in the 1/8 and high 10.30 on motor in the 1/4.
