Have had a glasstek hood for a camaro....Great quality and price. They make several G body hoods.

I have a brand new Harwood 3" for a Malibu G body.
Will get it out of the race trailer tommorrow and send pics if you wish.
Never mounted, pin on. Its my sons, he sold the '81 Wagon it was going on. Took it out of the box and put it safely away.

I have a fuel altered with a Harwood '23 T body. I was a painter/bodyguy for 40 years.
The Harwood body was flawless out of the box, hood is the same way

i've put a 6'' and 4'' harwood on my 80 and they both fit really snug they have been making hoods for a really long time and you don't have to wait for them to make it, but i put a vfn fiberglass dash in my malibu and it's a pretty sweet piece never tried glasstek but i have never anything bad about all three

thanks guys. With the glasstek, what is the cowl design? With my hood now, the cowl design of the outer skin, doesn't match the fiberglass underneath, there is a cavity inbetween where the opening meets the windshield and where the air filter would sit, really seems to create some wierd underhood flow and seems to trap heat right around the carb.
