any of you guys running russell twist lock hose or equivalant on your race cars from fuel cell to carbs ?? .....also what about aluminum fuel lines ??

I've used the twist lock before and not had any problems with it. Did the aluminum line from a fuel cell back in like '95-96 and it worked ok.

I thought about aluminum lines on my car. The stuff from Earls is too thin walled for EFI. I'd like to find some thicker walled 1/2in line for my car. Need to upgrade from what I have now.

I've been running the Aeroquip push lock for 6 years on my car. It's starting to crack on the outside and may be weeping fumes too!!

I never had any trouble with the twist loc hose. we always ran it to the front then wentt to braided though. Seems neater than the aluminium to me. Just my .02

I've been using aluminum fuel line for 30 years with no problems, you have to mount it right on the car and use proper fittings.
I've never used it with any EFI system however.

push lock from sump to bulk head then braided , push lock 200 psi hose oil and fuel retardent .
