So I have a fuel cell with sending unit and the float keeps swelling g up in it (probably because of the e85) any one have this issue or a fix for it?

but some are available converted to a brass float....

fuckin' E85 really fucks up a lot of shit....!!!!

Make one using a Holley carb float? Cork works, if you have some old wine bottle corks.....

I have an after market cell and sender in mine and it would swell. I disassembled the sender and sanded that grooves that it rides on to open them up a little bit. Seems to work fine now.

sorry, I missed the part about a fuel cell...
well, I depends on who made the sender..
because I HAVE SEEN people change the hook on the end to solder on a brass float from a traditional older type gas tank sender...

you will have to fool with it to get it to read with a proper level of accuracy, but the brass will not fall apart..

I called jaz and they said it's a known issue and that they will sell me a new sending unit for a discount but for now they are mailing me a few more floats. They said the new style they fixed the issue.
