Deciding on a mounting location for the fuel pressure regulator and I want to ask does it matter how far the regulator is from the rails?
This is on a 4th gen f body.

Also the intruction for the regulator suggests a "Y" block out of the rails to the regulator. Is that neccessary? I was planning on feeding the front driver side rail, running a line to connect the two rails in the back of the intake and having the front passenger side rail go into the regulator.

Thanks.

You can run the rails in series but depending on application and fuel demands you can run the last couple of cylinders lean. Running the rails in parallel is a much better set up. Try to keep the regulator as close to the rails as you can.
