How about some rubber mounts. I can't imagine you should just let it hang from the fuel lines.

I used to let mine hang from the fuel lines too but after noticing that they were rubbing and actually wearing out the starlite hose I decided to put them all on a fuel log and at least put something on there to keep them in one place. They are not hard mounted and both attachment points had rubber isolators when we finished the mount but it kept the hoses from rubbing against each other. I never noticed any real change in performance either but the car definitely never slowed down and it never hurt anything either. I also changed all the fuel hoses coming off the regulators to steel braided. The weight savings was not really worth the trouble of them wearing out.
