this is what I believe I have found hidden while remodeling an apartment of mine. It says patented april 5, 1807. and I believe is stamped H&R Arms on the barrel.

Any prestige relating to this particular pocket pistol? Worth anything?

It is a Harrington & Richardson Arms Co. vest/pocket gun. Not sure what it's worth. Don't try to clean it up before talking to someone about it.

They didn't have H&R then either, it started in 1871.

yeah once i looked up the company and saw it was established in 1871 i realized the date was 1887.

Thing still works mechanically.. i only wish it was loaded...
anyway I can find out visually by looking at the barrel to tell whether its been fired?
