Just brought home a new 2000 Ford Excursion. Problem is the drivers side power seat will only go forward...not backward. (I'm 6'3"....drove it home with my knees in the dashboard) All other seat power functions work.

Any ideas? Thanks!

my wife used to have a 01 expedition with the same problem, we found a broken wire inside the connector under the seat..might look at that. hope it helps

switch is nfg.

I had to replace the switch one time. Also, some Fords have two plug ins under the seat. One could be disconnected.

Hate to bring this back up, but any more ideas? I was dickin with the switch and moved the seat forward again about an inch. Now I can barely drive it...
