Is it ok to use ford atf in a 400 turbo?

Type F is the only fluid I have ever used in my own TH400s. And that is going back to the 1970's. I have never had any ill effects from it. Take care. Tom Worthington

Bottom of the barrel but yes the trans will work. Any other oil would be an upgrade.

I wish I would have known that. I had a heck of time finding more than 1 or 2 quarts in any of my local parts houses. Plenty of everything else.
