Just curious if the stock studs that came with my stock/oem housing will work. It's a narrowed 9" with a strange ultra case. Looking at around 1200 hp at the flywheel. Thanks in advance.

they will be fine they just hold the axle in the housing and retain the brake backing plate

I was referring to the bolts that hold the carrier/third member/chunk in not the retaining plate.

Probably OK. To be safe, knock the bottom 4 out of the housing and replace them with grade 8 studs. Weld heavy hex nuts on the inside of the housing and loctite the studs into the nuts.

Issue has been resolved....or at least I hope so. Kinda hard to weld inside the housing but it came out ok.
